Alejandro Pinto-Flores is a highly experienced and accomplished environmental engineer with expertise in regulatory compliance and consulting services. Currently, he serves as the President & Principal Engineer at Ecoleague, a professional corporation in San Juan, Puerto Rico that provides environmental engineering and consulting services. He is also the President of the Environmental Engineering Institute.

Alejandro's professional career began in 2008 when he joined Amgen as an EHS Associate. There, he managed environmental and safety programs across the plant, including air permitting, stormwater, SPCC, recycling, drinking water, ODS, and PSM programs. He then served as an HSE Resident at Novartis Animal Health, where he established a safety culture in a new facility while maintaining environmental compliance programs.

From 2013 to 2017, Alejandro worked as an Environmental Engineer at Professional Services, where he provided consulting services in environmental and safety topics to several companies in different industries. In 2017, he founded Ecoleague to continue providing these consulting services in Puerto Rico.

Alejandro is a highly educated professional, having obtained his Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, where he graduated summa cum laude with a GPA of 3.97 out of 4.0. He also earned a Master's degree in Water Resources and Water Treatment from the same institution in 2014.

Aside from his professional achievements, Alejandro has also been involved in various nonprofit organizations throughout his career. He served as the Director of the Institute of Environmental Engineers (IIAM)-CIAPR from 2011 to 2013, the Treasurer from 2013 to 2015, and the President from 2016 to 2018. In these roles, he managed the financial and operational aspects of the nonprofit organization branches with annual budgets of up to 50 thousand dollars.

Alejandro's professional skills include being DOT certified, HAZWOPER certified, and a Yellow Belt in Six Sigma. He is a highly accomplished professional who has made significant contributions to the field of environmental engineering and consulting services.
